How Can You Help?

Flanders’ Mission is to provide opportunities to appreciate nature’s wonders and preserve land, inspiring lifelong learning about our natural world.

Flanders Vision is to be a leading resource and destination of choice for environmental and outdoor education, research, land preservation and stewardship, farm experiences, and arts activities, reflecting the needs of our changing and inclusive communities and evolving partnerships.

To help reduce  expenses,  the donation of supplies, services and/or equipment that are used for fulfilling our mission are greatly appreciated!

General Flanders Needs

    • Gift cards from: LaBonnes, New Morning, Staples, any local grocer
    • Refrigerator:  to keep children’s lunches cold when they attend summer camp and other programs
    • Office supplies & equipment: pencils, pens, staples, tape, file folders, copy paper, card stock, scissors, whiteboard markers, zip ties (all sizes), laminator sheets – all new or gently used
    • Storage supplies: large clear storage bins with lids
    • Cleaning supplies: Simple Green, small scrub brushes, small squirt bottles, old towels
    • Snow removal tools: wide snow shovels

 

Programming Needs

        • Empty, clean gallon milk or water jugs
        • Yarn (any color, texture)
        • New child-sized lab coats
        • Craft supplies: markers, colored pencils, glue sticks, new boxes of crayons, button maker, new craft (popsicle) sticks

 

Critter & Farm Needs

          • Child’s fencing play yard
          • Gift certificate to animal feed stores: Pet Value , Blue Seal Feeds (Litchfield), Ken’s Ace Hardware

 

Please note that no goods or services will be provided in exchange for your donation. Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 organization.  A written acknowledgement of your donation will be provided for your personal records.
