SUMMARY:Become A Climate Champion
DESCRIPTION:Climate Champions Science Afterschool Program\nWoodbury Middle School • 12‑Session Program \nClimate Champions is a hands‑on\, climate change learning & advocacy centered after school program open to all grades at Woodbury Middle School.  This program includes 12 Wednesday sessions scheduled between October 7 and April 7\, with rolling admissions. It aims to teach climate science\, build applied scientific skills through hands‑on study of the school’s forest and campus\, and provide a fun\, safe environment that strengthens teamwork\, problem solving\, and self‑confidence.  Youth will graduate with a Climate Champions Certificate & real-transferable skills to apply their lives and communities.\nProgram Goals\n\nBuild foundational climate science knowledge\nDevelop applied scientific skills through fieldwork and experiments\nStrengthen teamwork\, communication\, and problem‑solving\nFoster confidence through meaningful outdoor learning\nEncourage stewardship of the school’s forest and natural spaces\n\nQuestions?\nPlease reach out to Julia Meurice\,  Camp & Education Director\, for more information.
